Ella Rothschild at Granville Island, Vancouver, BC, Canada

אלה רוטשילד, נולדה בשנת 1984, כוריאוגרפית, אמנית רב-תחומית ורקדנית. רוטשילד רקדה בלהקת המחול ענבל פינטו ואבשלום פולק ובלהקת המחול בת שבע, בהנהלתו האמנותית של אוהד נהרין. כיום רוטשילד רוקדת בלהקת Kidd Pivot בהנהלתה של הכוריאוגרפית קריסטל פיט.

מאז 2006, רוטשילד יוצרת המשתפת פעולה עם אמנים שונים מדיסציפלינות שונות. עבודתה משלבת מחול, אמנות חזותית ומוסיקה.

רוטשילד קיבלה את פרס דודו-דותן עבור רקדנית המבצעת הטובה ביותר לשנת  2013.בשנת 2016 קיבלה את פרס "רוזנבלום לאמנויות הבמה" של העיר תל-אביב ליוצרת המבטיחת של שנת 2016 ועוד באותה שנה קיבלה פרס ממשרד התרבות והספורט על 10 שנות יצירה. בשנת 2017 קיבלה פרס ממשרד התרבות והספורט עבור רקדנית המבצעת הטובה לשנת 2017.

בין יצירותיה: הקורד, 12 צ'קים דחויים, יהודה,ישו על בסיס סויה, הצפה, סל, ולדעתי הפה מיותר. בשנת 2018 יצרה את Feed עבור להקה ברזילאית במסגרת פרויקט ישראל/ברזיל, את Timeline עבור להקת BTT באיטלה. ב2019 רוטשילד יצירה את Futuristic Space בהזמנת והפקת תיאטרון רד בריק ביוקוהמה, יפן.

השנה רוטשילד הייתה אמנית ברזידנסי בברישניקוב ארט סנטר בניו יורק ונבחרה לתוכנית שהות אמן הראשונה מסוגה במרכז סוזן דלל. במסגרת הרזידנסים רוטשילד עובדת על יצירתה חדשה שתעלה ביוני 2020 במרכז סוזן דלל.

2019 – ‘Small Grant’ from Asylum Arts Institute for new creation.
2019 – Artist in Residence in the Suzanne Dellal Centre’s inaugural residency program.
2019 – Residency at BAC – Baryshnikov art center NYC
2019 – Grant from the art committee of culture – Mifal Hapise for the creation IMO the mouth is redundant.
2017- The Israeli Ministry of Culture Award for the best solo performer for 2017.
2017- Grant from the art committee of culture – Mifal Hapise for the creation of 12 Postdated Checks
2016- Rosenblum Performing Arts Award by the city of Tel Aviv for the promising creator of 2016.
2016 – Artist in Residence at Kelim | Choreography
2016- Yehoshua Rabinovich Foundation and Tel-Aviv city hall for the special site-specific project Flood.
2016- Schusterman grant – a grant for creation and four-month residency at Howard University in Washington.
2016- The Israeli Minister of Culture Award for 10 years of creation.
2016- ‘Small Grant’ from Asylum Arts Institute.
2014- Grant from the art committee of culture – Mifal Hapise for the creation of Judah, Jesus with Soy.
2013- Grant from the art committee of culture – Mifal Hapise for the creation of Acord.
