Antonino was invited to create choreography for the Venice Biennial, he was awarded the Sakharov Prize and created numerous dance works for the prestigious Paolo Grassi Art School in Milan (Civica scuola di teatro Paolo Grassi). He obtained a Master of Arts from La Sapienza University in Rome. Their works have a strong emphasis on the place, the site in which the performance occurs. In recent years, most of their works are performed in the public sphere together with photographers and architects. One of their leading projects, existing since 2009, is the Duet “At Your Place” that brings dance into people’s home, school classes, work place or any other space that has intimacy that allows a different kind of observation of the performance.
